Qwickhose is delighted to announce its recognition at this year’s 2024 London Design Awards in not one, but two design categories 1) Product Design / General & 2) Product Design / Hardware, Power & Hand Tools as Silver Award Winners.

Hampshire based Rivendale Products Ltd is the architect behind the Qwickhose products, which are designed to alleviate the everyday hassle that traditional hose connectors commonly provide. Qwickhose has become a staple of both home and garden enthusiasts and the outdoor trades as it offers an innovative option to the more common alternatives on the market today.

Thomas Brandt, spokesperson of IAA, who operate the London Design Awards comments, “The winners have redefined what it truly means to shape and inspire a global audience through design. The industry’s endless stream of creativity continues to amaze me, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our exceptional panel of jurors. Their expertise and thoughtful evaluations have been instrumental in turning these outstanding works into celebrated milestones.”

Family-owned, Rivendale Products Project Executive, Brady Wilkinson comments in reaction to the announcement, “Qwickhose hasn’t been on the market for long, so for our design to receive these accolades is an inditement of the innovative flair of our design team and the work that has gone into making Qwickhose a robust ‘fit-for-purpose’ solution. Dovetailing with this recognition by the London Design Awards is the feedback from our customers detailing how Qwickhose is the product they never knew they needed, but has become essential to everyday gardening/housing projects and also the trade, who needed something stronger for the job on an every-day basis.”

2025 is gearing up to be a busy year for the Qwickhose team, with a healthy exhibition line-up announced including: The Garden Press Event on 18th February at the Business Design Centre, London. BBC Gardeners World Spring Fair 2nd – 4th May in Beaulieu, Hampshire. BBC Gardeners World LIVE, 12th – 16th June at the NEC Birmingham and GLEE on 16th – 18th September at the NEC, Birmingham.
